It arrived damaged so had to be sent back. Wasn’t happy with the construction of it either. Ended up getting a refund after 2 weeks of chasing customer service
Went and bought an ECM and couldn’t be happy with it. Great construction and better operation Was worth the extra $$

Short term review
I’ve upgraded from a breville barista express. Originally I was looking for a dual boiler for temp stability, but with another 900 for a Profitec 300 or questionable quality of a Bellezza copy, I went with this. I was a bit nervous about a Hx, but wow. It’s got a pressure gauge which is nice and the electrically heated group is quick. Hopefully it’s more reliable than a traditional e61.
There’s no preinfusion which is probably the main drawback however we’ll see whether that’s massively important.
All in all, super straightforward and seems fantastic. First piccolo was amazing.
Also appliances online have been pretty great. I was having a horrendous week and was hanging onto the new machine for some hope. It was delayed by a week but delivered on my birthday, a bit earlier than the planned delay. Thanks guys I appreciate it heaps
