Looks like a knock off
The cover is thin PVC material with felt underside. I'll be surprised if the cover will last the summer after exposure to high UV and heat. Similar quality covers have degraded quickly and cracked. This is not worth $79, maybe $19 at the most.
Would not purchase again!
The original Beef Eater Discovery BBQ cover which was included free with the unit lasted about 18 months before it started cracking badly. Looking for a replacement, I bought this cover figuring it was a higher quality version of the one I got for free, after all it was quite expensive.
Unfortunately, it turns out it is identical to the one that came with the unit. How they can charge this much for such a cheap made cover is surprising. The UV resistance is poor and I won't be purchasing this again!
The only positives are that it fits well and has the "beefeater" logo.
Put your money towards a different cover, this is terribly over-priced for the poor build quality.
