Designed for bigger families, the 10kg front load washer includes fifteen customisable wash programs, 4-star water and energy efficiency ratings, plus a 1–24-hour delay option so the load can be run whenever it is most convenient. It has been designed to match with the AKAI 8kg Heat Pump Dryer AK-HPD8S for a perfectly paired laundry solution.
Another exciting feature of this product is the inclusion of Wi-Fi functionality, where washing can be remotely monitored via the easy-to-use AKAI Home app. The inclusion of automatic balance control ensures that the noise is kept to a minimum, as your laundry is automatically redistributed using reverse rotation to ensure stability during the spin cycle.

Not the best but it’s okay
I bought this one because my previous broke. It is a good washing machine but if I compare it if my previous it doesn’t dry the clothes the same, so it take more time to dry. Apart that I’m satisfied with my new washing machine.
I am happy with the Akai 10kg front loader
I am happy with my washing machine. Very easy to use, quiet and washes the clothes well. I showed my boys how to use it and they do their own washing...winner!! The program I have used most is Express Cotton (116mins) which can handle the 10kg capacity and the clothes come out clean and well-spun at 800. I like that it has only a cold tap connection and heats the water to the programmed temperature - it also assesses the weight of the clothes and adjusts the program time to a lesser time if the load is less than programmed. The Quick Wash program is good for small loads and only 18mins. The first time I did a load of towels (full load) when the program finished it must have been too heavy to spin while the towels were wet - so I split the towels into 2 and ran the spin program for each 800speed (11mins) and this worked fine. Now, for loads with bath sheets, I put less in but this is fine for me as I don't have a backlog of washing to get through anymore. The wi-fi program works well to monitor the progress of washes but you need to download the icon app that reads "AKAI Smart Home" not the printed "AKAI Home" app in the manual (that is older and doesn't work).
The delivery and installation from the AO team were quick and efficient, taking the packaging with them. They gave me a quick demo and advice before leaving.
