As described. Easy to install.
Great price. Even so, there was a price drop a few days after I ordered so I rang up and Appliances online credited me the difference. The only niggle I had was that the carbon odour filters were out of stock so the whole order was put on hold. And I understand that's OK because AO was offering free postage (two postings would be stretching the friendship but they ended up doing that anyway). App. Online didn't email me to tell me why it was taking so long to deliver. After I called they delivered the range hood so I could get it installed. The filters (2. Each lasts 6 months so a years worth for $30) followed a month later. The range hood? Installation. I was lucky that the measurements were pretty close to my old hood. I think that was deliberate. Width (60 cm was a no brainer) but height and depth were ballpark norm as well. This Esatto is a good replacement for most 60 cm hoods if you don't want to re-arrange your Kitchen. Secured this light weight range hood to the underside of the existing cabinetry using the existing length screws, pushed the 3 pin plug up through the existing hole and power point and switched it on. Features/Operation. Basic boxy look but not bad when the perspex flap is extended out from the stainless steel shell. It's not quiet but it's not intrusively loud. The LED light is bright and useful (here's hoping the LED lasts a lot longer then the Bulbs - every 6 months on the greasy ex hood). The exhaust is efficient for a 60 cm cook top at the legally required 75 cm distance at medium to max fan. Low's good for poaching eggs. Fitting the carbon odour filter was a challenge at first but you just feel around until you find 2 nodules on opposing sides of the central fan (remove the aluminium filters first) , position the filter's obvious connectors over the nodules, push up (assuming the hood has been fitted), then twist about 10 cm.
