Good machine when purchased at $300 off.
I'll usually watchlist items if they are heavily reduced, which this dishwasher was. A mid-tier machine normally priced at $1099, but I bought it for $793, including delivery on a price-match.
Pros:
* Nice soft plastic build compared to my previous bottom-tier Electrolux, which was hard plastic
* Beautifully quiet. You only hear water, not the motor
* A lot of space
* Front display is good with plenty of options. Even though it doesn't have a countdown clock for the cycles, it does have a wash, a rinse, a dry, and then a finished (separate icons for each) that lets you know what part of the cycle it is on
* after 2.5 weeks of use (about 20 cycles to test it), all cycles give a complete clean. The 'other' cycles are long compared to the normal quick 30 minutes, but I haven't had any residue or food stuck to anything yet
Cons:
* tall plates in the bottom rack may hit the rotating washing arm
* the bottom rack seems to hit the runners when you pull it out (in reverse the rack drops into the dishwasher a little when pushing the back). This may be an issue for some who are used to a flowing in and out rack (not an issue for me).
* as a result of the above point, if you lift the rack when pulling it out, it may slide off the tracks.
Overall verdict:
4.5 stars. A great budget price for a mid-tier machine. $793 including delivery is worth it for this machine. It has cleaned everything so far after about 20 cycles. Super quiet, heaps of space, heaps of cycles, with a good front display. A nice soft closing door. If you price match or are willing to wait for a price drop, this machine is worth it.
