Firstly, I am new to the heat bead/charcoal grilling world.
Was introduced by a friend who bought his Weber Go Anywhere on a work trip recently.
As a family of 4, I was looking to get something with a decent capacity, but not looking to do long low and slow cooks....this 57cm Compact Kettle fits that list perfectly.
I was daunted by the whole fuel idea, but in reality it is pretty straightforward....patience is the key....time and preparation is needed before cooking.
I have managed some tasty cooks mostly chicken chops, fat steaks & spare ribs....you simply cannot recreate this flavour!!
Be careful not to overcrowd the cooking surface.
This is all a bit addictive, there are some amazing accessories out there which I am looking into now, as I type this....ha ha!
