It is what I want, big load, efficient clean and easy to operate
No electronics!
I am sick of the electronic machines that break down every month or so. This machine is old-school - knobs you actually turn and a metal lid (not plastic). It is sturdy and works well, and I intend to keep it for a long time.
Wow, no bells & whistles just washes perfectly
After 7 years with an electronic machine trying to get things clean with wash times of over an hour- the Speed Queen is bliss. Just over 30 minutes and an extra large wash is perfectly clean and gently spun. No tangles, no lint, less wrinkles. Back to basics, set the dials and off it goes. It will be old fashioned to some but the swoosh, swoosh of the wash makes you smile and says it is a strong hard working beast. Large capacity enables me to reduce wash loads per week which is great as I am in a rural area on tank water. Very confident the machine will really last a lifetime.
