Great oven
My wife and I love our NEFF oven. We went to a pre purchase cooking demonstration in Taren Point where we then decided to buy the oven with the variosteam. My wife wanted the hide and slide door which is excellent. We are using the NEFF recipes on line - all of which have been delicious - both savoury and sweet. A great oven and we would definitely recommend it.
Fantastic oven but controls too small and fiddly
I love my NEFF oven - it cooks evenly and has a range of different options. I am pleased with the steam function which I use when making bread -but I can find no directions in the instructions or cookbooks for baking bread such as sour dough, when proving the bread in the oven is not suitable. I am also surprised by the controls, which are very small and fiddly to use. For example the heating up indicator is done with a thin red line which is no more than half a millimetre in size so you can't just glance at the oven to see where the heat is up to. You have to bend down to squint at the line. The Program controls are designed so you have to go though all the seconds before you go to the minutes - whoever cooks something for 20 minutes and 15 seconds? And you have to click on the very outside of the programming indicator otherwise it tells you what the function is for, rather than scrolling through the options. Please Neff make the controls as good as the oven!
