I’m planning to take my astronomy on the road during late winter and then spring months. This will definitely make the trip more comfortable as the nights while clear and wonderful are still quite cold. These are very reliable once you know what you’re doing with them. I don’t and have never used canisters. Only 9kg gas bottles are a financially feasible option. You must use the absolute least setting on the bottle so as to not flood the heater with fluid which will cause the heater to block and it won’t ever be able to be cleared. Experts have tried.
