Terrible purchase
We had an LG dishwasher before so remained loyal to the brand. I wish we'd purchased in store rather than online. The 2 shelves have the worst layout, there is nowhere for larger cooking utensils. The 'dry' function does not work, despite using rinse aid and selecting the right settings - the dishes still need towels drying. Really disappointed that we're stuck with this model.
Regret getting this model.
I originally had a Fisher & Paykel dishwasher with the same dimensions so I thought that it would have the same capacity inside but I was wrong. I can't fit as much as I was able to with my old one.
This model has WIFI but the WIFI is absolutely pointless, you can't control it using the app, the best you can do is see the settings you are currently running. I regret getting this model because the other LG one has a dedicated cutlery rack which is what I thought I was getting. You do get a cutlery tray but you cant fit any utensils in it.
The time it takes to finish a load on auto is like 3.5 hours which was weird coming from the Fisher and Paykel which was about 2-2.5 hours.
I also never got the Bonus Finish Pack from Appliances Online so make sure to chase that up.
Disappointed
We bought it to replace an ageing Dishlex dishwasher (that was a true workhorse!) & the LG definitely doesn't clean as well. The cycles take way too long. You can't use Energy Saver on the Auto cycle & dishes still come out wet when using Extra Dry . It has all the bells and whistles but doesn't do as good a job as our old Dishlex. Very very disappointing.
