Very disappointing
I have hid this machine for a few months now and would not recommend it to anyone. I previously had an Electrolux for 15 years, it had a great range of cycles to choose from and washed really well. I had high hoes for a newer version, but this does nott remove even the most basic of stains. It’s advertised as a 9kg machine, but there’s only one cycle that allows you to load it with 9kg and that cycle goes for a maximum of 40 minutes it seems (intelliquick cycle), not long enough to clean the clothes well enough. The other cycles, even with a “pre wash” or selecting the “stain pro” option also don’t clean the clothes, they come out still dirty. I’ve been using the same washing powder for 5 years and it worked perfectly well with the last machine. I tried a new powder to see if that was the problem and it still didn’t help. For reference, I have 2 small children who attend daycare, so they come home very grubby. Instead of a new washing machine making life easier for me, I now have to soak all clothes before washing them, sometimes put a small load on and pause it when it’s soapy in there so they get more of a soak and then finish the cycle and then wash again. I have to bleach all of my whites, as nothing comes out of them. Unfortunately, I am stuck with this machine until our budget allows for a new purchase. When purchasing, I checked the reviews for this machine and most were quite favourable. But if you have kids that go to daycare, play sport, are messy eaters, even have a husband who maybe gets a tiny bit dirty at work, this is not the machine for you.
Ease of use
A good size, not much bigger than my old 7kg. Love the 9kg barrel. It is fast and efficient once you work out the programme you want to use.
