Works well for winter in Victoria
Bought it to help dry clothes especially in winter since we don't have space for a dryer. While it does take longer than a dryer it doesn't use as much power.
not worth it
we bought Delonghi dehumidifier DD230P 6 months ago for our kitchen. Very happy with the product. It's very powerful and very friendly user. Unfortunately it was unavailable when we decided to get a second unit for upstairs master bedroom. So we purchased the same brand DDSX220WF as it stated that it's more quiet and smaller in dimension. We are so disappointed because 1. it emitted twice hot air compared to Delonghi DD230P. 2. it did not display the room and the required percentage humidity level simultaneously. 3 when changing fan speed it changed to the fan mode instead of dehumidifier mode. 4. it may be a bit quiet compared the DD230P but its noise was very annoying like a machine operating sound and not a smooth sound like DD230P
5. It was 1/2 as powerful as DD230P. It took 1-2 hours to see reduction in humidity level; whereas the DD230P only took 15-30 minutes to see immediate reduction.
If we only had DDSX220WF Tasciugo Ariadry we wouldn't had known the good qualities of the DD230P for comparision.
Great in this humid weather
This is our second De Longhi unit - so great and easy to use and this is a bit quieter than the one we already have - takes up to 8 litres of moisture out of the air a day at our place - east to empty the tank too
