Worth the extra dollars
I was tossing up between this model and the cheaper models.
This more expensive models have several additional features over the cheaper ones:
PerfectFry Plus. Poorly named, it simply allows you to select a temperature instead of a power level. I haven’t found this feature particularly useful.
FlexInduction. Brilliant feature. It allows you make 2 cooking zone behave like one. Great for large, rectangular pots or cast iron grill plates.
Easy Flex Zones. Let’s you place a smaller pot anywhere where on the left side cooking zone and the cooktop figures out where to send the energy.
If you are planning on using the extra features, I’d recommend this cooktop.
Bosch induction cooktop
Looks great. Works perfectly and is so easy to use and clean. Delivery was easy and on time. Brought up to my second story kitchen no problems.
