With an energy-efficient and gentle drying system designed for the utmost care of your clothing, the Bosch Serie 8 8kg Heat Pump Tumble Dryer is the smartest way to tackle your laundry. Reusing the heat generated throughout the cycle, the Bosch ActiveAir technology ensures efficient operation and gentle drying.
It’s easy to load and unload the drum thanks to the LED interior light and glass door with a 170-degree opening angle. Not simply blasting your fabrics with heat, the Sensitive Drying System features mild, warm air coming from all sides of the drum, gently drying the garments with assistance from the curving carriers inside the drum. Featuring the AutoDry system, internal sensors monitor the temperature and humidity within the drum for up to ten kilograms worth of laundry, providing the desired level of dryness without over-drying.
It also features an Easy Iron program which moves the drum at regular intervals after drying to help prevent creasing making ironing that much easier!

It's a kind of dryer
The worst appliance I've ever forked out good cash for. I thought I was doing the right thing by spending $$$ on a 10 star energy rated dryer. Unfortunately from day 1, even after a 4+ hour cycle, sheets and clothes are still wet. It has also destroyed sheets due to causing them to form into extremely tight balls during the cycle. Tried to send the dryer back after purchase, but refund not an option.
I'm very disappointed
I chose this dryer based on its energy efficiency and the trusted BOSCH brand.
However, I’ve been disappointed from the beginning. The drying level is poor — clothes never come out feeling properly dry or crisp, even after cleaning the filters regularly.
As others have mentioned in their reviews, sheets tend to ball up during the cycle, leaving the inside damp.
I can’t help but wonder whether the low power consumption comes at the cost of effective drying.
This dryer cost $1,478, and frankly, it’s not worth it.
My previous dryer — an old and inexpensive model I used for 15 years — performed far better.
It feels like BOSCH no longer lives up to the reputation it once had.
There are a lot of five-star reviews for this model, but I honestly don’t understand how people can be so satisfied.
Overall, I cannot recommend this product at all.
Doesn’t dry!
Coming from a 17 year old Bosch Maxx 7 dryer to this I was hopeful for similar drying performance. What a let down. The dryer simply doesn’t get clothes dry. You set a program leave it for 2 hours to do its thing, come back and they are still damp. So you run it again. Very disappointed and wouldn’t recommend
